Gold Prices in Pakistan Hit Record 391,000 per Tola — Highest Rate Ever in the Country
Sep 17, 2025 – Gold prices in Pakistan surged to an all-time high on Tuesday, following gains in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs4,700 per tola, reaching PKR 391,000 in the local market. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams climbed by Rs4,030, hitting PKR 335,219.
On Monday (15, Sep) , gold prices had remained stable at Rs.386,300 per tola.
International Market Impact
The international gold rate also saw a sharp increase, standing at $3,692 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a gain of $49 in a single day. The rise in global gold prices continues to push local rates higher.
